What it reads

Exactly two things from the page you're looking at: its address (location.href) and its title (document.title). It doesn't read the page's content, your cookies or anything else, and it never visits the listing itself.

Nothing is saved until you check the form and press “Open case”.

  1. 01Show the bookmarks bar: Ctrl+Shift+B on Windows, Cmd+Shift+B on Mac.
  2. 02Drag the “Clip to Madeproof” button above onto the bar.
  3. 03Open a listing that copies your work and click the bookmark.

Firefox

  1. 01Show the bookmarks toolbar: View → Toolbars → Bookmarks Toolbar.
  2. 02Drag the button onto the toolbar.
  3. 03Click it on a listing page.

Safari (Mac)

  1. 01Show the Favorites bar: View → Show Favorites Bar.
  2. 02Drag the button onto the bar. If Safari won't let you, bookmark any page, then edit that bookmark and paste the copied code as its address.
  3. 03Click it on a listing page.

iPhone, iPad and Android

  1. 01Copy the bookmarklet code below.
  2. 02Bookmark any page, then edit the bookmark: rename it “Clip to Madeproof” and paste the code as its URL.
  3. 03On a listing, open your bookmarks and tap it. On Android Chrome, typing its name in the address bar and tapping the suggestion also works.
